Great shoes. I love them. They look like could really show of some lace handknit socks 
I´ve made slippers with fritidsgarn before. It was a garter stitch pattern from one of those Sandnes Julehefte.

The shoes look great! Maybe a felted bag? I have some skeins Lett Lopi my self that I think shall be a bag sometime….
